Description
Helper Strips
The Glissopipe is designed to be played by ear and instinct. But when you are just starting out, a little guidance can help. Helper Strips are optional magnetic overlays that attach directly onto the Glissopipe’s ribbon. They stay securely in place and show the positions of notes using colored rings — which you can both see and feel with your fingers.

Each of the 12 notes of the chromatic scale has its own color. Different musical scales are printed on separate strips, including diatonic and pentatonic scales (in all 12 keys) and a full chromatic scale.
Helper Strips make the first steps easier, especially for beginners, children, and music education — while still allowing the Glissopipe to remain an expressive, voice-like instrument guided by listening rather than rules.
Every Glissopipe you choose to back includes one C Major Diatonic Helper Strip included in the package at no extra cost. This strip helps you quickly locate the notes of the C Major scale (white keys on the piano) and makes it easier to start exploring the instrument right away. In addition, you can choose additional helper strips and add them to your pledge as optional add-ons during the campaign.
Please note that each Glissopipe model has its own size of helper strip, which you will have the opportunity to choose at the end of the campaign. If you pledge a Glissopipe Triple Bundle, and would like to have a pack of Helper Strips for each of the three sizes, you will need to add three packs of Helper Strips in the add-on section.
Add them to your pledge and customize your playing experience from day one.
